Assistant/Association Professor in the School of Human Resource Education and Workforce Development at the Louisiana State University
Responsibilities: Teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses in human resource and leadership development; develops a program of research, scholarship, and grantsmanship consistent with the mission of the School and a Research-Extensive University as evidenced by consistent publication in refereed journals, research conference proceedings, and other scholarly outlets; maintains graduate faculty status and advises/supervises graduate students; provides state, national and international leadership in human resource and leadership development; participates in School, College, and University activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications: Doctorate in human resource development, adult education, instructional design or a related discipline, with an identifiable focus in human resource development (A.B.D. candidates will be considered but must have degree by date of appointment); strong quantitative and/or qualitative research skills.
Additional Qualifications Desired: Teaching experience in a university setting; experience designing and developing training courses for adults.
