Social Networking for Academics! Consider Joining Academia.edu

Have you heard of Academia.edu and wondered what it was? Consider it kind of like Facebook but for us academic types!

Academia.edu is a cool place for academics to create a profile and share their research. In fact once you join, the site automatically finds your publications and adds them to your profile! You can choose others research to follow and they can follow yours. It is a way to meet other researchers with similar interests. Who knows you might even find a new research partner, or an interesting place to work that you never knew existed!

Several of us from the WDE Community are already using Academia.edu!
